Field Notes Spring 2017 edition - Utility

So, let's do the unwrapping and see what's inside this edition.
The Utility Ledger edition is Out of Stock for now, therefore, we will do a review with the Utility Graph instead.

As compared to the my Pitch Black notebook, the Utility edition seems a little thicker.
If you are a fan for thin notebooks, then you might not be your liking.

I like the bright "Safety" yellow cover - it's tough, and seems durable. It make searching for it a lot more easier if I dumped this notebook into a big bag. With such cover, it will definitely attract some attention when using it.

The Mohawk Via Vellum 70# "Pure White" paper seems to take fountain pens really well - this is definitely a good news for those who are using fountain pen. As I am only using 2 fountain pens at the moment (many of them are "put to sleep"), so I cant speak for all fountain pens. If you are using a wetter fountain pen, you might find some "ghost" on the next page. EF nib and F nib pens shouldn't have a problem with "ghost".

Many user feedbacked about the ruler at the back of the cover - it can be better.
It's not a big deal for me.
The ruler comes in 2 different measurements - cm and inch.
We dont carry a ruler with us all the time, so this notebook can do the ruler's job.
Because of the ruler, it created a gap when the ruler is folded in. Imperfect can be beautiful.

I have no idea how I am going to use this notebook, but I am tempted to use it as my daily notebook - for schedules and to-do-list - with date and day stamped on the top corner of each page.

Being a fan of beautiful stationeries, this is one Edition that you want to add to your collections.
As the stocks are limited, do drop us an email to check the availability.

Till the next post, enjoy writing and keep buying notebooks - coz Everyone Deserves a Notebook.
